What is Parad Shivling?

Parad Shivling is a hardened form of mercury that naturally occurs in the atmosphere, water, and soil. In nature, mercury can be found in a variety of forms, including metallic and elemental mercury as well as organic and inorganic mercury compounds. Before Parad is recovered from mercury, it goes through a number of processes of purification. The most fortunate and auspicious metal, parad, is thought to have been created from Lord Shiva’s sperm. In addition to being heavily utilized in Vedic rites, idols fashioned of Parad are also noticeably stronger and more luminous than idols made of porcelain, wood, or metal. A Parad Shivling has the same spiritual and heavenly advantages as a thousand Shivlings constructed of stone or any other material.

Benefits of using Parad Shivling

Mercury, often known as the flowing metalloid, has a significant place in Ayurveda. It is used to treat a variety of illnesses, including blood pressure, sex-related issues, and asthma. The solidified form of parad, in the shape of beads, is used to treat blood pressure, diabetes, and heart illness. Typically, this is worn as a neck or waist jeweler. Consuming Parad with milk in a vessel has several healing benefits and can help the body become more pure. It is utilized to improve physical health and avoid ailments like diabetes and asthma, according to early texts.

How to use Parad Shivling?

Solidified mercury, sometimes referred to as Parad beads or balls, is worn as a locket or as a neck decoration to ward off evil eye.

Wear the mercury until the pain is completely gone if you are experiencing body pain, making sure that it contacts the affected area. Another method of pain relief involves soaking a mercury ball in ghee or oil for 24 hours, then massaging the painful area with the cooled ghee or oil.

It is advised to wear the ball around the naval for 15 to 20 minutes each day to treat constipation, digestive problems, gastritis, or a strong headache.

It is recommended to either place the mercury ball on the forehead while meditating or tie it with an adjustable thread.

A Parad bead ring is used in place of multiple gemstones used to prevent various issues and is claimed to soothe the negative effects of all the planets. It also functions as a sankalp’s fulfillment (determination). When the intention is fulfilled and one is content, the ring is thrown into a body of moving water (a river)
